​Julia Lee is an American fashion model, content creator, and advocate known for her dynamic presence in the fashion industry and her commitment to social activism. Born on March 30, 1992, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she has built a multifaceted career that spans modeling, media hosting, and community engagement.​

Early Life and Education

Julia Lee was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She began her modeling career during high school, making her first runway appearance at Philadelphia Fashion Week. While studying abroad in Milan, Italy, she signed with a New York-based modeling agency. Julia graduated from Penn State University with an honors degree in marketing and international business. ​

Modeling Career

Julia's modeling portfolio includes features in publications such as the Los Angeles Times, L'Officiel India, Her World, and Harper's Bazaar Vietnam. She has modeled for major brands including Kate Spade, Clinique, Maybelline, and Nike. In 2014, she opened Giada Curti's show at New York Fashion Week. Julia has also appeared in commercial advertisements for Citizen Watches and led makeup tutorial videos for Shiseido. ​

Media and Hosting

Beyond modeling, Julia has ventured into media hosting, covering red carpet premieres and events for PokerNews. She has also appeared in music videos for artists like Farruko and was featured during the 2015 release of Fetty Wap's self-titled album. Julia comes from a Chinese and Vietnamese background. Her father immigrated to the United States after fleeing from Saigon (now Ho Chi Minh City) during the U.S. withdrawal from Vietnam. He passed away in 2019. ​
